In my previous article i discussed to you how to disable autorun or i would say autoplay using the windows xp’s group policy editor. This time i will teach you on how to globally disable autorun and the autorun.inf file in windows xp.

disclaimer: The author and this blog assume no responsibility on any loss of data caused by following this guide.

Open a text editor or notepad then copy and paste the following text below.

REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\IniFileMapping\Autorun.inf]
@=”@SYS:DoesNotExist”

Now, save the file to any name you want but with .reg extension e.g disableAutoRun.reg. Right click or double click on the file and confirm that you want to commit registry entries.

That’s all about it, the next time you insert removable drives including flash drives,CD/DVD disc autorun will be ignored, meaning you have to manually execute the application you want to run inside the removable drives.

On average, women gain 30 pounds worth of weight during pregnancy. Weight gain during pregnancy is due to several reasons – increased body fluids, breast growth, baby’s weight, budding uterus, plus amniotic fluid and placenta. After giving birth however, the weight gain may be cut to half because retained fluids are expelled mostly through perspiration.

Another reason for the added pounds is that the mother not only needs to eat for two, but she craves for all sorts of food stuffs due to her changing hormones. Every other husband has probably experienced having to provide his pregnant wife’s weird midnight craving.

Pregnancy weight gain is also partly due to the amount of calories the body needs to produce milk for the baby. So, if mothers want to optimize weight loss post childbirth, they must make sure to breastfeed their babies. With regular breastfeeding, the mother may shed off half a pound weekly. What remains are 8 to 12 pounds of stubborn weight. These will be in for the long haul, as pregnancy weight may be completely rid of up to 11 months after childbirth. If you aren’t breastfeeding, expect a remainder of about 12 to 21 pounds of weight.

To spark up your motivation, stash those maternity clothes and take out your pre-pregnancy clothes to remind yourself of your weight loss goals. Take note however that strenuous exercise is not advisable until two to three months post-partum. It is wise to consult your doctor before starting any diet and exercise regimen.

Your post pregnancy weight loss exercise program should consist of mild activities like cycling, swimming and walking. Yoga is also a recommended activity. Toning your pelvic and abdominal muscles are also important – crunches and Kegel exercises will do the trick. At all times, avoid vigorous movements or exercising to the point of exhaustion. Your own body is your guide, and if you begin to feel tired, take a breather. It’s best to do proper warm-up, and break down exercises into several 10-minute sessions.

The first word that usually pops up when someone is trying to lose weight is diet. A whole lot of people associate that word with food deprivation, near starvation, or eating a lesser amount than the usual helping. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines diet as a regimen of eating and drinking sparingly so as to reduce one’s weight (going on a diet).

However, it has also been defined to mean the following: a.) food and drink regularly provided or consumed, b.) habitual nourishment, and c.) the kind and amount of food prescribed for a person or animal for a special reason. Paying close attention that the alternate definitions mentioned is where I believe the secret to successfully losing weight without starving oneself lies.

Here are just 2 things you need to do lose those extra pounds:

Change your daily food intake – watch your calorie intake. You can still eat the food you love but do it in moderation. One good alternative I can recommend is Herbalife’s weight loss program. As a meal replacement, Herbalife’s protein shake drink contains all nutrients you need without adding the extra mass and calories. Following the program, I still lost close to 15 pounds in a month’s time without going to the gym and getting all my daily nutritional needs.

Exercise regularly – make sure to give the muscles in your body enough work out. You can lose weight faster by supplementing your diet program by doing exercises and burning more calories daily. Like a well-oiled machine, getting enough daily exercise also gives one the benefit of looking younger and better. A good work out program also helps deals with stress.

Nobody said it was easy. Developing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle requires consistent effort on a daily basis. One thing I’m positive about is that you can get more out of life being healthy and fit than being fat and out of shape.

Yes, COFFEE, which I’m really not into it, aside from the anti-aging elements it has, I’m not just a caffeine person. Well anyways, going back to my favorite cake, I always wanted to know how to make one, and one author out there sure was kind enough to make a post. Probably the “sweetest” mocha cake recipe I have ever read.*wink*. So here’s how to do it.

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups cake flour

2 teaspoons baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup vegetable oil

1 cup buttermilk

1 3/4 cups sugar

3 pieces large eggs (stored at room temperature)

1/2 cup cocoa powder

Procedure:

1. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.

2. In a separate bowl, combine vegetable oil and buttermilk.

3. In a separate bowl, beat sugar and eggs until light and fluffy at high speed using an electric mixer. Shift to low speed and blend in cocoa.

4. Beat in flour mixture alternately with buttermilk mixture, beating after each addition until smooth and creamy.

5. Pour batter into prepared two 9 x 1 1/2 inch layer cake pans.

6. Allow to cool after baking before spreading on the Mocha Cake Frosting.

Baking Temperature: 350 degrees celcius

Baking Time: 30 to 35 minutes

And wallah!..my favorite cake!
